Explore our Campsite Pedal Cars We offer two pedal cars for rent. The pedal cars provide a fun and active experience, children must always be accompanied by an adult. Please contact the reception for rental and more information. Kajakk We offer two kayaks for rent for those who want a calm and nature-friendly experience on the water. The kayaks are stable and easy to use, suitable for both beginners and experienced paddlers. All necessary equipment is included with the rental. Please contact the reception for prices and more information. SUP - stand up paddle boards We offer two SUP boards for rent, perfect for a fun and relaxing time on the water. Boat Rental We have 14 boats in various sizes available for rent. The boats are suitable for both short trips and longer excursions on the water. Playground Our playground offers a safe and fun area where children can play and explore. It features a variety of play equipment suitable for different ages. Children must be supervised by an adult. Fjordcamp Beach Fjordcamp has its own small beach that all guests are welcome to enjoy. It’s a cozy and peaceful spot, perfect for swimming, relaxing, or simply soaking up the beautiful surroundings. Boat Rental at Fjordcamp Fjordcamp is ideally located for fishing both inside the fjord and out toward larger fishing grounds — putting you just a short distance from the big catch. Fjordcamp offers a modern fleet of 14 safe and seaworthy boats for fishing, exploring, or simply enjoying the beautiful Vesterålen coastline. We also have one boats designed for wheelchair users and guests with reduced mobility Folding bow ramp for easy and safe boarding Spacious and stable – perfect for everyone Fish Handeling Facilities Fjordcamp has a fish-cleaning house with benches, table, and running water for cleaning fish, which guests are welcome to use. It is located close to the harbor. We also offer freezers that can be used when renting a boat. In addition, we have a locked equipment room where you will find an empty 20-liter container and fish tubs that can be used for storing your catch. This room also has space for storing your own equipment if desired. Guest Boats Welcome We offer several guest docks and floating piers, including boat berths with electricity for larger vessels as well as berths without electricity. This provides a convenient and scenic harbor for guests arriving with their own boat. When renting a boat berth for tourist fishing, please make sure to read the information about tourist fishing regulations under the “Information” section on our website. Boat berths for anglers do not include any guarantee of freezer space. For rental of both a boat berth and access to a freezer, please contact us so that we can check availability. Rules and information: A rental contract must be signed upon commencement of the boat rental. The renter is required to present a valid boating license or be born before 1980 in accordance with Norwegian regulations. Sufficient boating experience is mandatory for all renters. Life jackets are provided and must be worn at all times while on board. All guests are expected to respect the natural environment; disposal of litter in nature or at sea is strictly prohibited. Fjordcamp is an approved tourist fishing enterprise. All catch must therefore be reported in order to be taken home. Additional information regarding tourist fishing regulations is available in the information section at the top of our website. Boats, equipment, and fuel must be returned in the same condition as received. Any damage, malfunction, or safety concern must be reported to Fjordcamp immediately. The renter is responsible for assessing weather conditions and ensuring safe operation of the vessel at all times. Here you can enjoy a relaxed atmosphere with homemade food and freshly brewed coffee, ice cream or a cold drink. Food & drinks We serve a small but tasty selection of hot meals, sandwiches, snacks, cakes, and ice cream. Cold drinks, coffee, tea, and a selection of wine, beer and spirits are also available.

Registered fishing camp Being an officially registered tourist fishing enterprise means that Fjordcamp operates in accordance with Norwegian regulations for tourist fishing. This includes strict requirements for safety, reporting, and responsible handling of marine resources. As a registered business, we are obligated to report all catch taken by our guests, ensure that fishing is carried out in a sustainable manner, and provide clear guidelines so visitors can follow current laws. As an officially registered tourist fishing operator, Fjordcamp can facilitate the required export registration. Please note that this registration can only be issued if you are staying with us or renting one of our boats, and only when all regulatory requirements have been fully met. Fjordcamp gladly welcomes guests who wish to fish, provided that all national rules and guidelines listed below are followed. Export Quota Tourists are allowed to take up to 15 kg (fillet or whole, gutted) out of Norway. This applies only if the fish was caught with a registered fishing tourism operator, such as Fjordcamp. Mandatory catch Reporting New regulations require all guests to report their catch daily. Fjordcamp sends a registration link where your catch must be reported each day before 23:00. Even if you didn’t catch anything, you must still report “0” for that day. General Responsibilities Follow the minimum size limits for each species (see separate list). Respect local wildlife, boat traffic, and nature. Never dispose of fish waste or trash in harbor areas – only at sea, at least 200 meters from shore. Be considerate towards both nature and others. Salmon zones & Protected Area Fishing is not allowed near river mouths where salmon and sea trout migrate. Always check local signs or maps for protected areas and temporary restrictions. Local Restrictions Some areas have additional rules, such as marine protected zones or no-motor zones. If you’re unsure, just ask at reception – we’re happy to help. Allowed Equipment Tourists may only fish with handheld gear, such as rods, handlines, or similar recreational equipment. Nets, traps, longlines, and trolling reels are not permitted.
