At Fjordcamp, we are more than just a place to stay – we are a small, dedicated team who truly love what we do.
We are a family-owned business right in the heart of Vesterålen, surrounded by mountains, sea, wild nature and fresh air. Whether you check in, rent a boat, have a coffee or ask for local tips – you will meet real people who care about your experience.
Our team works year-round to make Fjordcamp a warm and welcoming place for everyone.
We pride ourselves on keeping it personal, professional and full of Northern Norwegian charm.
In 2025, Fjordcamp will celebrate 20 years in operation since the last fire – still a proud family business owned by Ottar and his son Tommy Bergersen. Fjordcamp is still run by the family and with exciting plans ahead, we look forward to expanding our services, activities and being able to offer even better experiences for our guests.

In 2025, Fjordcamp will celebrate 20 years in operation since the last fire. This year also marks a new beginning, with new staff and motivated operations managers leading the team.
Fjordcamp remains a family-owned business, proudly owned by Ottar Bergersen and his son Tommy Bergersen.
We have exciting plans on the horizon, we look forward to expanding our services and creating even better experiences for our guests.
